Listed Booster Fan (DEDPV)
The sanctioned way to run a duct past the normal length limit. Code caps a dryer run at thirty-five feet of developed length, and every bend eats into that — which is why plenty of two-storey and mid-building laundry rooms are over the limit the day they are framed. A listed dryer exhaust duct power ventilator, installed to its manufacturer's instructions, is what makes those runs legal and functional. It is not a patch for a dirty duct: if the run is simply blocked, cleaning is the fix and a booster would just be an expensive way to push against lint.
